Hello, my name is Amanda Painting. When people ask what I do for a living, I proudly say I'm an entertainer. It's not just my job, but my life, my love and my passion.

A fairly new venture for me is my own show on Radio Ceredigion every Sunday night at 8 o'clock - great fun! There are guests, music and chat, and the main thread running through all the shows is to invite people to have the courage to follow their dreams. It has taken me 46 years, so don't give up hope!

People often ask which is the favourite string to my bow. The answer is simple - I just love the whole bow. If I'm singing and playing the piano surrounded by people, I'm entertaining.
