Hello ladies and gentlemen!  My name is James Southon and I have the honour of waking you lovely people up every weekday morning from 6am - 9am and from 6am - 11am every Saturday.

So here is just a little bit of background information about myself...

I was born in Leicester on the 26th of April 1987 (and as a result I'm a humungoid fan of my beloved Leicester City FC...it's a hard job but somebody's gotta do it).

Moved to wales when i was 6 years old and loved it, although i was born in leicester, Wales is no doubt my home and where my heart is (a little corny ... but it's the truth)

Also love my music, bit of an indie fairy at heart. Fave bands at the moment include Feeder, Muse, The Subways and fellow Leicester City fans Kasabian!
Though being a radio DJ has exposed me to a lot of pop cheese and although at first listening to it used to hurt my soul initially I'm ashamed to say that now i actually quite like most of it ... which is a good job really.

As far as things i don't like are concerned the 3 that stand out are

1.Marmite (it's just wrong)

2.Harry Hill (Nothing really personal, He's not funny! just makes stupid noises)

3. Pritt stick (weird i know, but you'll have to ask me in person for the reasons on that one)

There we go, that’s a brief introduction to the strange individual that is myself.
So tune into me from 6am Monday to Saturday and have a giggle.
